Canadians are highly sought after. Not every briar supplier offers these extra large ebauchons (block of briar wood). They are quite rare and thus quite expensive. The ‘Harpoon’ is especially long for a series pipe Canadian.
In contrast to most pipes from Rattray’s, the Harpoon has no room for a filter. The epitome of a classic Canadian. The pipes can vary in lenght. The goal is to make the shank as long as possible.
This is the black sandblasted version with swirly brown stem.
