Super rare original Suhr pipe from the days of Poul Rasmussen (Grandfather of the current Suhr pipes maker Johannes G. Rasmussen).
Elegant slight Bent Dublin with a semi tall bowl, wonderful grain and hand cut stem. The stem ware the famous red and white dot today used by Poul Rasmussens widow Anne Julie. We have rated it three but 3.5 would be more accurate. The stem and shank connection is a tiny bit of because the ebonite stem shrinks. This is quite normal for a pipe that is around 70 years old.
A funny detail is the marking that says "Lige Aaret Haandskaaret" which is Danish and means handmade straight grain.
