The producers of Robert McConnell pipe tobaccos have revived the Old London Pebble Cut. Red virginia, perique and black Cavendish. Please note that in this new version they have replaced the original oriental leaf with a deep black Cavendish. After the virginia and Cavendish have been left in bulk to merge they add some fine Louisiana perique. Then the blend is hard pressed and long flakes are cut. Some places write its a broken flake but we think its a flake.
