McConnell´s Scottish Blend

This distinctive and satisfying mixture comes from one of the earliest compositions in our blending book.
A firm favourite amongst Scottish pibe smokers in the 19th century; is now smoked throughout the world and recognised as the Original Blend-parent of all others. Basically formed from a blend of Red Kentucky and mottled Virginia leaf and Turkish, the blend is lightly pressed, cut and fully rubbed open by hand. Carolina Black and Leaf Latakia are added and the whole blend is then stoved in copper drums.

The resulting mixture is one of the finest full-flavoured tobaccos available. Once the confirmed pipe smoker has tried the Original Scottish Blend, it is very seldom that he seeks further in his quest for the perfect tobacco.
