The Helmer cigar is a hand rolled medium/small size corona cigar made personally by the last real cigar maker in Denmark Niels Nielsen aka CigarNielsen. The Helmer name of this cigar is in honour of the cigar master maker who taught Niels how to make good cigars. The filler tobacco is from Mata Fina in Brazil and the Binders are from the Northern part of Java and the Wrapper, a fine shadegrown and tasty leaf from Connecticut.
Its a mild to medium strength cigar with a rich taste, notes of cedar and nuts.
The Danish cigars are known for being "dry" cigars so it is not a must to have them in humidor. Niels recommends you to dip the tip of the cigar in water or brandy, whisky etc. before cutting it. Here you get a tube with 20 hand rolled cigars, made in Denmark.
