When dealing with the fantastic history of Danish pipe culture it is impossible not to pay attention to the name W.Ø. Larsen, our old “neighbour” on Strøget. The Larsen shop was a important hub of activities in the world of Danish pipe making - just consider the people that spent time carving pipes under the Larsen name: Søren Refbjerg, Tonni Nielsen, and Former, just to mention a few. Another one was the great Benni Jørgensen.
Benni, now living in the southern parts of the island of Sjælland, is still making high grade pipes, but now in his own name. And beside having added himself to the long list of extremely talented Danish pipe makers he has also managed to pass on the skills to his son, Lasse Skovgaard, who we also represent from time to time.
