Tine Balleby
Tine Balleby is the daughter of the renowned Danish pipe maker Kurt Balleby. After a long period of apprenticeship and with great support from her father, she officially entered the professional world of pipe making in 2024. Her pipes are characterized by a refined sense of detail and precision, and every piece carries a distinctive hallmark: a drop of 18-karat gold inlaid into the pipe as her personal signature. This detail gives each pipe a unique and elegant character. Tine Balleby is among the very few female pipemakers in Denmark, and her presence marks an important step for the tradition. She is regarded as a fresh breeze in a craft that is in need of new, young talents. With her craftsmanship and dedication, she carries forward her father’s legacy while adding her own personal style and identity.
