New tobacco taxes in Denmark

The Danish parliament has voted for an increase in tobacco taxes.

During this year (2020) new tobacco taxes will apply on all tobacco products. 

The tariff variates from cigars to pipe tobacco, but in general we expect a price increase around 30 %. This means we expect a 50 gram tin to increase with 35-45 DKK and a 100 gram tin will increase with 70-80 DKK. This will be in effect from April 1st. 2020. We will sell at old prices as long as we have stock.
