Nine pipes in one take!
When we purchase big selections of pipes it happens that we end up with a bunch of pipes where we categorize them as "No Names". They are all rated ER1. This can be because the mark has been worn out, the maker or factory forgot to mark it, its has many scratches, has been repaired so we simply valuate them to not be worth putting up as an individual product.
Our whole philosophy about bringing pipes back to life in mind, we have decided to offer these as "Estate box sets". All the pipes are smokable and they have been cleaned, reamed, polished and new inner coating.
In this "surprise box" you have nine pipes: 2 x Mobil, 2 x Pimpernel, 1 x Pilot, 1x BBB and 3 x No Names.
Length from 13,50 cm. to 15,50 cm. The weight is from 22 to 46 gram.
There is no warranty on estate pipes. What you see is what you get.
TAX FREE: Please note that if you are an outside EU citizen the VAT (20%) will be deducted the listed prices when/if you finish your order.
Estate Rating by The Danish Pipe Shop from 2015:
Presmoked = Used before
Unsmoked = Never been used
ER1: Ok condition = The pipe is smokable, but it is clearly a second hand pipe with natural scratches, marks and charring on the top rim..
ER2: Good condition = The pipe is in good shape, but has a few marks/scratches on bowl and stem. Some charring left on the rim.
ER3: Very good condition = The pipe is in good shape, but has a few marks/scratches on the bowl. Very little charring.
ER4: Mint condition = The pipe is in a superb condition, no bite marks and almost no scratches. Logos and marking are visible. This rating is used for the best presmoked and most of the unsmoked estate pipes.
ER5: As new.
Condition of inside bowl = NIC (new inner coating) or OR (orginal but reamed or untouched if new)
Marking: All visible marking is noted here. If in doubt we don’t write it.
Please be aware that this rating is a subjective The Danish Pipe Shop rating and belongs to us. The system is not rooted in any official rating system. Our rating system includes only pipes from January 2015.
