Please note: We send all our non-tobacco products worldwide. However, we do not send tobacco products outside Denmark.

Please note that you must be over 18 years old to become a customer. US citizens must be over 21 years old. You have already confirmed that you are above 18/21 years by accepting pop-up, when entering this website. By accepting our business terms, when checking out of the web shop, you confirm this again.

Apple Pay:

The Danish Pipe Shop accept Apple Pay payments in the shop and online. You need to have your credit card/cards in you Apple Wallet in order to pay this way. If you use Mac devices this is a very easy and secure way to pay.

Bank payment:
When buying from The Danish Pipe Shop you can also pay by bank transfer. Note that we charge a fee on international orders paid with bank transfer. We do not cover local fees charged by your bank. If you choose bank transfer we will not send your order before we have received payment. Please be aware that it takes 2-5 days before we receive payment through bank transfer. Please note the order number on the payment. If we have not received payment within five days, we will cancel the order. 

Business to Business inside EU

If you want to buy from us as a business to business transaction without VAT (taxes) you need to get a special account. When logged in with this account you will not pay taxes when finalizing the order. Please send company name, business number, address, name, e-mail and phone number to info@danishpipeshop.com marked "BTB account". This is only necessary for companies inside EU.

Conditions:
Printing errors and omissions excepted and so are changes in VAT/tax and exchange rates. In case the item is out of stock you may expect a certain delay. If you order unique products, we reserve the right to reject your order, if the case is that it is already sold. We do our best to keep the products status updated but due to the fact that we have a real shop as well as a web shop, it is it likely that the product is sold in both places simultaneously. We hope you understand.
Please notice: if you purchase a pipe from a mass produced series, you will most likely not receive the exact pipe pictured in the listing. But you will receive the exact number/model/shape.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
The Danish Pipe Shop (TDPS) complies with the GDPR of May 25, 2018. Even if you are not active as a customer, we keep your personal information for five years. After five years, your information will be deleted. Until then you can by request see what kind of information we have registered, you can have the information delivered or have your information deleted. Deletion can only be done taking into account the registration obligation we may have towards other authorities.

Layaway offer:

We are willing to reserve unique products or negotiate a layaway plan – though only on pipes and lighters for minimum 1500 DKK, 200 Euro or 250 USD. You choose what you want, make the order and then you choose payment method number five LayAway as method of payment. In the comment field please write how many times you want the amount to be divided in, and we will send you X number of PayPal invoices and when the last is paid we will ship your order. It's the same method using bank except here we can't send you requests. The last option is that you pay with your credit card by phone or e-mail.

You must pay the first payment on the date of the order. A 25 % down payment is required in order to reserve pipes. You can only have one layaway order at the time and it must be paid full within a year. Layaway orders cannot be refunded. If other questions, please mail us at info@danishpipeshop.com.

Lighters and gas/butane:
Shipping butane bottles and full lighters to some countries is very problematic, so we reserve the right to reject orders or remove the butane bottle from the order. Lighters will be empty when/if we ship.

Prices, payment and Tax free:
If you shop from Denmark all prices are including Danish VAT/Moms (25 %). If you shop from an EU country your local VAT will be added. If you shop from outside EU the prices are excluded VAT. Please note you can choose to see prices in Euro or USD. If delivery is outside EU the tax will be deducted automatically. This will happen when you tell the system the country of delivery. If its outside EU including UK you will not pay the Danish tax and save 20%. Whether you have to pay domestic import taxes is a matter of yours. We do not cover domestic taxes, custom handling fees in case they are charged. If you are not shopping online, but wants to visit the real shop please read the section Tax free further down at this page.

We accept credit cards: Diners, Dankort, Mastercard, Visa, Eurocard, JCB, American Express. In the shop we accept same cards and cash in DKK, EUR or USD. We accept Apple Pay and MobilePay online and in the shop. Our MobilePay number is 944225. We also accept PayPal on all non-tobacco products.

If delivery is inside the European Union, you have to pay V.A.T. (Value Added Tax) - unless you are buying from us as a business. For more about business to business look under B at this page.

Reservations

We don't reserve products, but you are welcome to take advantage of our Layaway offer.

Rejected orders, Return/exchange of items:
If you refuse to accept delivery due to local taxes and or import fees in your country you will be charged two times shipping. 

If you regret your purchase you can return the product, unless it’s a tobacco product or a gift certificate. 
Within 30 days you are free to return the item(s) to the shop. You will then get your money back - with the deduction of freight charges (also on Free Shipping orders). We do not refund the cost of returning the item to us. Please use a service where its delivered to us and not a collect service. Please note that it can take 5-10 days before the refund is visible for you unless you paid with PayPal. The items returned must be unused and in the original packing - however, opening of the packing is accepted. Please enclose a copy of the order confirmation. The return address is our main address (bottom of this page). If you are from outside EU please attach our invoice outside the box in a plastic pocket and write "returned order".

Shipment:
We ship all over the world. When you check out you will see the solutions and prices we have for your country. The rest is up to you. You can read more about shipping here.

Shipping included: When you buy online for more than 2000 DKK (270 Euro or approx. 250 USD (USD tax free)) we offer shipping included. We decide how it is shipped and deliver within three days to two weeks. Average is five days but based on we deliver worldwide, and this text is general, we prefer to communicate as correct we can. Whether you have to pay domestic import taxes is a matter of yours. We do not cover domestic taxes in case they are charged. Please note this offer only stands for online purchases.

Tax free for outside EU citizens visiting the physical shop:
For customers from outside EU we can offer you Tax Free through Global Blue. Global Blue is the biggest service provider in Europe of tax free refund and they have offices in Copenhagen city and Copenhagen Airport.
How does it work?

You do your shopping and we print out a receipt plus a print. You fill out the print before you leave Denmark and show the receipt and the special print to Planet, They refund you from 13-19% of the total. The tax is 20% so the 7-1% is the fee charged by Planet. Please note that you have to buy for minimum 350 DKK/50 USD/40 EURO in order to achieve tax free in physical shop. Time of delivery:
We ship all over the world and naturally the time of delivery varies. Its our experience that the time of delivery is 3 to 15 week days from mailing to receiving your order. This is without the time used by your local custom control. When you check out you choose how we shall deliver. We have a detailed explanation here.

Tobacco:
We cannot send tobacco outside Denmark. The Danish Pipe Shop has permission from Danish authority Sikkerhedsstyrelsen to send online tobacco orders inside Denmark. Tobacco products sent in Denmark has correct Danish warning labels and taxes are paid according to current legislation.

Warranty and exchange:
Should the item(s) be defective, damaged or the wrong one(s), please contact us a.s.a.p. In case of damage in transit, contact the authorities involved (e.g. Post Danmark). All articles bought from the Danish Pipe Shop are covered by a 2-year guarantee valid from the date of purchase - unless anything else is stated in the product description. Pipes are covered by a guarantee of the pipe bowl (in case of a burn-through, even though this is very rare). It is the manufacturer who decides whether the pipe burn-through is under the guarantee. Please note that we do not provide warranty on second hand products (Estate pipes and used lighters). The Danish Pipe Shop does not cover return cost, but shipping the product back after repair is covered by The Danish Pipe Shop.
